Transferring Pump

Hello!I have just received a gently used Medtronic Paradigm 722 pump from a wonderful woman I met during a fundraiser. She got it brand new a while ago, used it for a year the switched to the Animas. It works just fine and I have been cleared by my doctor to start on it in a week or two. However, I am wondering if there is any way to switch the warranty to my name? Is there anything I need to go through with Medtronic to allow this? Will they allow this?I don't have insurance so getting this…See More

Honemooners!!

I'm still in the Honeymoon stage and I am in the process of getting the pump for the second time. I know one other person who is still in this stage and on the pump. I am wondering how long have you been honeymooning? Or how long DID you honeymoon? What were your basal rates? Did the pump help you elongate your honeymoon stage? I know there is no definite way of knowing that, but did you think it helped you adjust more to your body and diabetic needs? Thanks! KatieSee More
