Im kaci, I am the Mother of three wonderful children. Blaise 12, Hunter 11, and Bryar 4. and the wife of Doug. We live in Arkansas. My son Hunter was Dx'ed Aug,9th 2007 with Type 1 diabetes.

Christine Noe said… - My BGs were crazy too. I've had my pump for 2 yrs. Now my last A1C was 5 after having gotten to 20 before having the pump. Now like a normal person. Still have to check sugars often and count carbs .....in order for the pump to do it's job right ..I have to do my job right. Hope eveything works out right. Please try to keep his BGs good because I went blind and had to get my eyeballs removed all because of high sugars . When I was a teenager, I wanted to be cool and fit in with everyone else so would not check my BG or take my insulin.CHOOSE SIGHT.

Danny said… - Hi Kaci!... You are a wonderful mother....to be so active with Hunter's Diabetes. I was dx'd at 12, now I am 36. I have told my mom "thank you" several times over the past few years for taking such good care of me when I was a little boy. Anyways, thought I'd stop by your page and say "hi".
