Happy Birthday, Kai! I hope you take your insulin today. We'd like to see you around here more often! Really, I hope you had an awesome day. I had a boss who was a quad. He had his accident on exactly the same day in 1967 that I found out I had diabetes.

Hello :)
The Names Kaitlyn Dannielle Campbell. But, lets not waste time, call me Kai or Katie.
I have an amazing family, which most of them reside here in Snohomish.
I am the youngest out of 3, and have 2 older adopted siblings.
My brother is a parapalegic, had a swimming accident in Moses Lake back in 2004, hit his head on a sand bar, breaking his neck and fracturing some vertabres, leaving him paralyzed from chest down, though he can eat, text, play video games and use his hands somewhat frequently. I have two sisters, Alissa and Michaela, two brothers, Josh and Zack, they are all very protective, like all older siblings should be. My brother also has a fiance who is amazing with him. I have 4 nephews and 2 nieces all under the ages of 10. How my mom survives each day.. i dont know. Must be a miricale. I have two "adoptive parents" My second mom and dad as I like to call them. Wanda and Jon Schroedl lived down the road from my house since before I can remember, they have two younger kids who i call my bro and sis, Kaylee and Colton, god put them in my life when Colton was a newborn. I began watching their kids a few times a week and they have been stuck with me for the last 8 years. They moved up north to Arlington where they reside in their beautiful home and with their two kids and can't forget, the cats.

I turn 17 in May on the 22nd at exactly 12:39 pm. I remember this day as the "Bingo" day. My grandma Mary had just left the hospital to go play bingo while she waited for my mom to call and say it was time, but at exactly 12:39 grandma was yelling Bingo while I took my first breath of air. She then won a trip to Reno, Nevada and ever since, we have had the intensions of traveling to Las Vegas the day I turn 21. Good times, i tell ya.

I act beyond my years of age, but im still a kid at heart. I have a hard time taking the word "No" very easily from my mother, which.. doesnt fly with me. But I am the baby of the family, so i like to call my self the golden child because i get the luxaries or mom feeling bad for me some days.
I text alot, i am not lieing when i tell you each month i go over 5,000 text messages... easily. How i dont have callises on my fingers... i do not know. It amazes me.
So I guess I fill you in on my nieces and nephews.
Caleb Allen-
First born out of the nieces and nephews. He lives with his mom and her fiance in Temecula California about 57 miles away from San Diego. The weather is always immaculant and malls are AMAZING. If you want to see a celebrity, I suggest you go to the Ivy resteraunt in L.A. Pacific Beach (P.B) IS amazing, they have the best drinks around. Ohh. yum! Caleb will be 10 in August, when he was born i was 7 and all i could say was "ew, a boy? I asked Santa for a GIRL!" But, beggers cant be choosers so I lucked out, but i still have fun with him anyways.

-Chance Raymond
He may be 6 and small but man I tell ya, this kid has the hardest punch ever. I swear i cry everytime i get beat up by him. Chance is the oldest of Lien Family kids, he has a sister, my niece, and likes his video games. But what child doesnt. Recently he decided to chew up a banana and spit it in a class memebers face.. why... I have no idea. He told his principal that "It wasn't the whole banana" which makes me laugh.

-Kaden Xavier
He's my monkey boy, hes almost 3 and CLIMBS on everything! He doesnt like to listen much and likes to run around resteraunts yelling things that are quite hilairious.
-Aidan Scott is almost 3 months old, I love him to death. He giggles at everything and spits up on everything. Its great. I call him Pookie, Pinkers, and ham, he likes to have gas all the time so I also call him Bean-O. He is an amazing little guy.

The nieces
Feenix Starr is 5, born March 12th and hour before Olivia Mckenzie. The girls arent twins, both have two different moms, but apparently were meant to be best friends!

Dealing with having diabetes right now is the hard part, I wont lie, I never take my insulin when i need to and maybe its just because i need structure and am not on a schedule... who knows we have been trying for years and nothing seems to spike my interest. I take my lantus religously, every night. No problems there... just with humolog.
Feel free to contact me on here or for my cell phone number i would be interested in starting to talk to people who have diabetes or who just want to talk :)
