Well here it goes it is called life and it feels like there is no such thing as life...It feels like sometimes that there is nothing that I cannot do or anyone else as a matter of fact that we have a car that it feels like it is never here and we only have one car and everyone has it I feels like if I need the car I have ask to get my own car see I am a 47 year old women and my husband's name and my name are on the car and everyone has to use it and it is not that old of a car it is a 2008 brand… Continue

Lap Band

I was wondering has anyone or anybody had a lap band surgery?? If you have I would like to know and what are your feelings about it.
Why I am asking is I am thinking on having it done.

Mt Daughter's Company in the coast Guard

Getting to go on Vacation

We will be leaving on vacation to go see my youngest daughter she is in the Coast Guard she will graduating from Basic Training her father and I cannot wait to see her it feels like it has been forever since we have seen her so it will be so exciting to see her again. Yes I will be taking pictures of course and putting them on here.

The Diabetic Expo in Tampa

Hi to everyone I just wanted to add this about the diabetic Expo here in Tampa on Sept 13, 2008 it was the greatest thing that I have ever been too there was so much to look at and listen to speakers and watch a food demo and there was other things too like the free samples that they were handing out and we even saw someone that my husband use to work with at the rice table but they were very busy so we did not get to have a long time to speak to them that was cool...But there was a few things t… Continue

i live in a little town called brocton, about 50 miles south/west of buffalo and 50 miles east of erie pa. about 2 miles away from lake erie.
you mentioned art work. do you mean the ones in my photo's? they are a mural that is in pa. it's made out of road signs and it must run for a mile alongside the roadway. i was quite impressed with it. they also made a "flower bed" out of roadsigns. big beautiful 3 dementional flowers and trees. about 4-5 feet tall. absolutely beautiful. we were on our way to the lake that has fish so thick in it that the ducks can walk on top of them to get the bread that people throw out to them. my daughter says wait till you see the mural. i had her camera ready and just started taking pictures. i thought it was worth sharing. hope you liked them.

hi karen. i noticed that you were from holyoke, ma. i was born in holden. i spent a large part of my childhood just out side of springfield in palmer, ma. i now live in western ny. but i still have family in three rivers. i too have had type 2 for 4 years. dx'd in june 2004. small world.

Hi Karen! Thanks for the comment. Yep you're right, she is a Basset Hound. Her name is Forest..Forest Gump lol. She's about a year old now but she still thinks she's as small as in the pic. Happy St. Patrick's Day! :)
