Hi Kathleen! Congratz on him getting the monitor. I would love to have one, but I am certainly not a candidate. My music - you can click on the link to get yourself a player...and then paste the code in your page, too. Someone here showed me how to do it, so you could even search on that. I can't remember where or who. Glad to see you - and I've added you as a friend! Keep in touch!

Hello Kathleen. Nice to have you with us.
Please stop by and join the Great Lakes Group, for those of us living in the bordering states - just a way to link people gelgrpahically. I live in Minneapolis.

Hi Kathleen! I read your comment about how your son was dxed. Please don't ever feel like you gave it to him because you were gestational. :-) We have enough guilt as parents as it is. I was gestational as well. I know if my children develop diabetes, and not through any auto-immune deficiency or injury, that it's most likely the genes that were handed to me. I'm sure he will not fault you in the least, and having GDM does not "give" it to your son. Hope you are doing well with all the routine. This is a wonderful place to get support and information - just look around you for new friends! And don't blame yourself! :-)
