right. If you use very cold insulin, all the technique in the world won't overcome that initial mistake.

Not bragging, but I must say that I don't get ANY bubbles any more by using the method I outlined above. When I had pre-paradigm models of MM pumps, such as the 506, 507, and 508, which used luer lock type reservoirs, I had much more trouble with ...

I am also a new pumper (under 1 month) and I am going to buy an extra insertion device and take it with me when I travel. There is no way I trust myself to insert that manually - and I don't even want to try.
