- Welcome Kayla! I am very interested in your federal court case and would love for you to post more about it when you get the time. There are lots of people here battling their insurance companies. I get very frustrated that my insurance won't take much care of me if I am healthy, but will if I don't.

Me
I ended up discovering I was diabetic over 10 years ago.. from being rushed to the ER with extreme DKA.
I'm currently in Federal court right now fighting for Type 1 Diabetics everywhere. I was denied rights and was humiliated during my high school years from lack of understanding towards diabetes.
I went onto college.. only to discover the horrors of "diabulimia"
All of this, however, has shaped the person I am today.
Diabetes has molded me into a responsible, sensitive, open-minded individual.
