You'll get there it takes time. I'm doing all right I use a Minimed pump, and I had a bad site last night so that get's really frustrating. Wasn't the rain last night and this morning crazy! I just got back from a doctor appt, and tried to go down parker to get into plano. They closed it down right at plano! I had to find a way through Allen. The pond in this one guys house had over flowed into the street! So I was late haha. If you ever want to vent or have questions I'm here!

Hey Kaylie,
See you were recently diagnosed. Hang in there. My daughter was diagnosed at 10 and her half sister at two. They both are on pumps and doing well. You might like my daughters singing, you can check her out on itunes or at www.nikkilang.com she just doesn't let her diabetes get in the way. I'm sure she would happy to be your friend if you were interested. You can e-mail her through her website or her myspace or face book. Her name is Nikki Lang. Good luck to you. STAY STRONG. Also, you might want to look at www.childrenwithdiabetes.com They have great information and wonderful conventions for kids and their families. They just had one in Orlando right across the street from Sea World and the kids all went to Universal and Disney etc. It's really informative, educational and fun. Good luck. All the best, Rocky

Both the Dallas and Plano offices have more samples. Have your mom email me which office. She has the address. What do you think of the dose calculator (the sheet we printed out)??

Did I read right that you are only 13? This may be a big part of it. ALl the changes your body goes through at this age tend to mess with blood sugars also. Just keep with it. I know it's frustrating, but it will calm down soon enough.
