I live diabetes and work in diabetes! As a magazine editor for a major diabetes volunteer organization, I get to champion awareness and support on the clock and in my spare time. I think the diabetes online community ranks close to insulin in helping me live well. You can find me on Twitter (Wednesdays, especially, at 9 pm Eastern for the moderated Diabetes Social Media Advocacy chat, follow #dsma). Thanks, online friends, for fighting the good fight against diabetes of all types. I want cures. And #dprom, of course.
