Anyone with thyroid problems too?

So I had a miscarriage in September and got the go ahead to start trying again after 1 cycle so we are trying again. But I noticed my thyroid swelled up after the miscarriage and have known for a while that thyroid and diabetes goes hand in hand and mine has been borderline for years plus all my siblings and my dad and all of my aunts and uncles on his side have hashimotos. I will get the official results next week so I can start taking synthroid. I have a feeling that the thyroid is the reason…See More

I am a 24 year old student studying History and Anthropology. So I guess you could call me a hippy. I am a daughter to some amazing parents and sister to two wonderful older brothers who have always had my back. This nuclear family unit of mine has helped shape me into the confident (sometimes over confident) person I am. I am aunt to 6 amazing nephews and a wonderfully sassy little niece. And these little people are probably my favorite little people. They have taught me patience and to never forget to sometimes be a kid myself. I am also married to a spectacular guy. He has been there and continues to be there through thick and thin. He has been there to support me through my triumphs and to pick up the pieces as my world seems to fall apart.

Welcome to the family! On this forum you will learn so much. Most of all you will learn that you are not alone. Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information. There are videos to help you understand diabetes and its treatment. Most of all there is family to talk to and even to vent to, if needed. Welcome home.
