I have a friend that is having trouble with her post meal numbers. She had a 72 2hr pp and at 3 hr it 113. Im wondering for myself whats going on.what could be doing that Thanks Karen

My BGs are still a little higher than I'd like them to be, but what I need to do is get out and exercise more than my once-a-week folk dancing. I know people who LOVE to exercise, but I'm not one of them! :-(

The thin cats are Oriental Shorthairs and Siamese. I think they're a beautiful breed! :-) All the cats on the pictures are cats I've had or still have. I'm only missing 2 which I had before I got my handy dandy computerphilic camera.
As far as the A1c of 10.7 -- I had a bad problem during 2010 with rising BGs that I couldn't control no matter how much insulin I took, and I ended up in a coma. My (former) endo didn't recognize that for me, it was a life-threateningly high A1c -- I never had one over 7 before in 19 years. I expect my next one to be back in the 6's, now that I have a new endo who actually knows how to use a pump (he's Type 1 himself). Neither he nor I know why I was suddenly having such severe insulin-resistance, but it seems to be gone now, whatever caused it. I'm back down to reasonably normal levels of insulin, and good BGs.

- I guess things are not going to good for me. I have been trying like heck to get out of this hellhole of a nursing home! I hate it here. I hate the small room; I hate the lazy aides; I hate the food; I hate the rules and regulations! Pray for me! I can't seem to do it. My beliefs in a higher power and getting weaker and weaker. I just can't believe that a good God can allow all this horrible stuff to happen to me!!
Feeling a little negative. Guess I had better close off so I don't pull anyone else in my "downer" mood.
