Actually I did some investigation on that drink that had 6 carbs but no calories... and the issue (and you metioned this in that list) was 'Erythritol'. It's technically a carb, but your body doesn't process it-- so the drink does indeed have 6 carb…

I love my pump. Combo Bolus is my best friend again.

So I started using my pump again. I am feeling so much better. I have not had any real highs(over 160) or significant lows(under 50 and that was just once due to miscaculating my carb and how long they would take to digest). I started it back friday. I am sure this is mostly because of combo bolus. I used almost every other meal crash after eating/bolusing even though my I:C was correct because of slowed digestion then I would spike and have to correct It was such a pain. now I just use the comb… Continue

am i too old? i think not

So I have been thinking about my future alot lately. I am so grateful for my job, I've seriously started thinking I need to start living up to my potential for the first time ever. I think it is a combination of things. Possibly getting older or being treated as if I know nothing when in reality I know tons more than I am given credit for partially because I look like a young, ditzy blond. I've dreamed of nothing since a child except being a doctor and mother. I graduted high school and entered… Continue

I was "45" felt fine. no hypo symptoms at all treated the low and went back to concentrating on work. An hour later checked again I was "48" treated it and ate my lunch early. An hr later we had a CODE(cardiac arrest) so that was… Continue

A...teenagers! But very understandale...the youth nowadays seems to adhere to independence. When I had a n accident 2008...I wasn able to walk for 3 months...Specially at my age.. I wasnt very happy too when being escorted to use the toilet, nor being able to bathe myself. But after therapy and recovery...Im more than so grateful to my family who helped me. Im sure she will do the same.
