I have had diabetes for 23 years myself. I am T1 also. I am on the MiniMed pump and love it. I don't know about the Ping. It's sounds awesome, but I am not willing to give up my CGMS for that. I LOVE it.
My best friend lives in MD, so I know where Frederick is. :)
I have had Type I diabetes for 44 years, since the age of 7. I have been pumping for 10 years, first with MiniMed. I have been on OmniPod for 4 months but do not like it. Repeated pod failures, unreliable bg's, and skin irritations have soured me on it. I am now considering the new One Touch Ping. Anybody have any thoughts comparing the 2 pumps? I really welcome this site and thank all of you for your insights.
