Hey Charlie! I just read your story and I'm inspired. You really are a true Hero for pursuing your passion! You didn't let a little speed bump like diabetes slow you down -- in fact, you've done the best thing with it!! Thanks for the inspiration, Charlie!

Listening to #34 diabetes power show right now. First time I have listened. I have been Type 1 for 41 years and usually pretty quiet about the disease.

Welcome

Welcome, Charlie! I just say in your bio you graduated from Full Sail! Both, Luis (who welcomed you) and I WORK at Full Sail. :)

I will contact you in the coming weeks over e-mail to send you a few questions. We are going to do an article that deals with diabetes, Full Sail students/staff, etc. around World Diabetes Day.

I am going to add your podcast to a new category on the home page, called "Podcasts", along with another one we know about (another member runs it too).

Take care and welcome aboard, man! Let's keep in touch to see what we can do to collaborate.

Hi Charlie, welcome aboard!

Here are a few tips on how to make the most of the site. I invite you check out the different groups we have: there's an excellent chance you will find more than a few that you can identify with.

If you find the community useful, we'd be honored if you could link to us on your blog/site if you have one or invite family, friends, colleagues and anyone whom you feel may benefit from it.

Also, if you know of any local newspapers, TV or radio stations that you feel could be interested in writing about our community, please let them know about our recent Press Release, announcing the community: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/8/prweb546849.htm

Last, if you run into Spanish-only speaking folks (quizas te interese ver la comunidad y unirte tu a ella tambien), please let them know about EsTuDiabetes.com our sister Spanish-speaking community.
