Insulin pumper since October 2000, I currently manage INfusion Insulin Pump Talk on Yahoo.
Also Diabetic Band Aid on Yahoo, and Type I Diabetics on Yahoo.
Formerly ran Animas Pump Talk on MSN, and assisted with The Pumping Place.
I'm a type I of 41 years, and also deal with fibromyalgia.
I'm active in our local Fibro group as well as some on the Web.
Fibro is real, and I'm all about supporting others with the condition who may not be able to get a real or fair diagnosis from their doctors.
I'm also self employed, running one small business locally.
Mom to one golden retriever a poodle cross, and two cat children.
BFA in fine arts (ballet and theater), and interested in knitting/crochet and sewing. I'm a moderator for Proverbs 31 Ministries for women, and the P31 online Facebook community. Active in Beth Moore, Precept and other Bible study courses and groups as well as a huge fan of Becky Tirabassi, Christian author and life coach. Returned to Bible Study Fellowship, Jan. 2010!I believe in living as normal a life as possible Diabetes doesn't define me, it is simply what I have lived with since 1970. I'm thankful for my pump, not interested in the CGMS.I would like to see diabetics the world over receiving the same kind of care we get in the US. I believe we take our tools and care for granted, and would hope we understand that others are nowhere near as fortunate as we are. As for you, Your Mileage May Vary!

Novolog Program Savings Card

I don't know if this has been mentioned, have not checked in for awhile. But I was able to get my two vials of Novolog for free this weekend via the Cornerstone4Care program. The program is for Novolog and Levemir and will assist with your co-pay up to $50. Since I elected a plan with a lousy $40 copay this year, I was thrilled that I didnt have to pay anything on Saturday when I got my insulin. And this program is good for an entire year.
Maybe someone else can benefit from this, sorry…
