I am probably one of the younger ones on here and most of everyone has gone through school and college and probably does not want to go back... but i have a speech i have to do for oral communications and i thought about doing it on Type 1 Diabetes because everyday people hardly know anything about it, including my teacher. For about 4 or 5 months after i was diagnosed with Diabetes, I was so sick and wasn't able to practice softball or run or even lift weights. Well this semester I have softball as a class and today was my first practice back and one word "SUCCESS"!!!!
My sugar was perfect during but when i got home it dropped a little, but not a whole lot, only to 60. But I had a great time and watch out becuae i am gonna be going 110 mph and show people what I am made out of. haha

Help with omnipod plus sports!

I recently got the omnipod and I haven't played any softball games or hardcore practices in it yet. When i play i am always diving and sliding in every chance possible. This is my first season being a diabetic which makes me pretty nervous, so if anyone is out there to help, I would love to hear from you!

I live in a extremely small town, so small where I know almost everyones vehicles, everyones name in my high school, and I live in one of those towns where everyone knows everything about everyone. There are only 2 Diabetics in my high school and unlike a lot of people i am thankful that God picked me.
Not a lot of people can say that but i proudly can.
