"It really is tough for us T1D's, even in pre-conception! I have a 2.5 year old, and I am currently 12 weeks pregnant. I started TTC this time with an A1c of 7. I knew this was higher than optimal, and it was not a number I ever saw when I was…"
"Haha, I just read this and realized that I replied to the original post waaay back when I was pregnant the first time, before I had given birth. Well now that I HAVE experienced labor, I will say that I used my pump and cgm all the way throughout a…"
"Congratulations on your sweet baby girl! Giving birth to a healthy baby is a HUGE success for us T1's, and you have MUCH to be proud of despite the fact that the birth didn't go exactly as planned. Good job mama! :)"
"I used my pump and cgm for the entirety of my labor, delivery, and recovery. Blood sugars stayed between 85 and 155, and were around 100 pretty much the entire time. It is totally possible for you and your husband to do this! Fortunately I…"

Hey Ladies, I recently moved to Fremont in the San Francisco bay area. Just thought I would see if any of you happen to have a local endo that you can recommend? I would especially appreciate an endo who helped you manage diabetes through pregnancy. Thanks!See More

I am currently 31 1/2 weeks and baby is measuring about 5 lbs.I love my high risk OB but she said there may be talk of a c-section or induction if she gets to 9-10lbs..I'm so scared of both.I also know measurments can be off and she said the same thing.I hope I get a chance for a natural birth.Whatever happens,I just want our little one to come out healthy :).
