G4 Causing You Pain on Day 7? Help

has anyone else experienced a soreness on Day 7 w/the new G4? I was told by my old rep I could wear the 7 for 10 days...and she was right. No issues. But with the new G4 I can't. Rt after I restart the sensor, it says crazy things like 457 or 29..so I'm forced to change it. At this point, Im tempted to switch back. Anyone else? xoxo from TrinidadSee More

November is National Diabetes Awareness Month.

I bet you didn't know that...

It's OK, I didn't until now either, don't feel bad.

It's funny how you start paying attention to things when you are afflicted by them.

That may sound shallow, but it's the…

Saturday evening, we went to a fabulous birthday party for our friend Gillian!

The party was a formal "black & white" theme.

So, us ladies headed to the mall for a hair and make up appointment.

My hair was is sad, sad shape - so I decided to go dark and try out some braids.

This was me on the way in...

Hello! Thank you for having me as a friend LP...
Trinidad AND Tobago....so far away, but it feels like you're right here! That's one of the appealing factors of tu.diabetes. I'm in Canada...in the southwestern part of the province of Ontario...a city named Kitchener-Waterloo (2 cities joined together). I'm a wife of 33 years (hubby is also diabetic), mom to two grown children (one 28, the other 26), a grandma to 3 lovable little boys, a teacher, and before that an illustrator (still do some) and graphic designer....I speak French fluently, I read, history fascinates me, I paint, sing, walk, garden, ski, ride my bike....did I mention "read"? I love having friends over, I bake/cook, am an eclectic music lover, an animal lover...the ocean...ah the ocean...it speaks to me! Oh...and I have diabetes (and a few other things).
Nice to have you as a friend!!! Tell me a bit about yourself!
hugs....linda

Welcome home LearningPatience!
August 17th...a mere week! How's it all going?
This is a great place to share, to learn, and to grow...all the while meeting new people world wide, and making friends.
Take a peek at some the groups when you get a chance. Just go to the top of your page, and click on "Groups".
Once in, you can either peruse the wide array of available groups....or simply type a specific interest in the space provided. There are also groups for active members, such as for runners.
Take in some of the blogs/discussions as well.
The resource boxes at the top of the home "Home" page, and
"About us" at the very bottom of your page and every page (the footer), offer you more information still.
