Carb Database

Hey AllAnyone know if there's a free (or relatively inexpensive) database or list (.txt, .csv or .sql format if possible) of foods and Carb/Fiber values on the net anywhere? I'm writing an application that would make use of this.Cheers,LiamSee More

Welcome from TORONTO, where INSULIN was discovered by BANTING & BEST, JULY 30 1921, check out www.restorethebantinghomestead.com. In my daily checking of this website for new contacts, there seems to be an increasing numbers of people from VANCOUVER, would it be possible to set up your group? A start would be to call 5DIABETICS in your area EVERYDAY, it would serve 2 purposes, let someone know you CARE, and could SAVE A LIFE. . Why dont your Vancouver group celebrate JULY 30, INSULIN APPRECIATION DAY , by having an AMIGO MOSAIC FEAST, work with dietitans and put on a feast that would highlight healthy food choices for people with all kinds of illnesses or diseases. On that day I will be calling all insulin-users, worldwide, to join me, in silence, and give THANKS for this Canadian medical "miracle" giving hundreds of millions of us a chance for a healthy lifestyle TODAY. Keep In Touch clarence.haynes@sympatico.ca
