Hi Linda! I hope you are doing well :) I know that it took me a long time to finally completely change and get totally back on track, but it was all worth it. It is certainly not ever easy, but it is somehow comforting to know in my heart that there are no other alternatives and I just have to keep doing it. It eventually becomes like breathing... even when you are tired, you just have to struggle through it and keep fighting. I have all the faith in the world that if I can do it, YOU can too!! Hope all is well!

Hi Linda, I read your message in the "born again diabetics" group and I am just here to do tell you that even though it is hard work to change your attitude about taking care of yourself, it is so possible!! That isn't to say that I don't still struggle at times, but I feel like after I just accepted the fact that I really don't have any other option than to do what needs to be done, it has seemed much easier. I just started taking the attitude that I just needed to "do it because I have to and if so many others can do it, then I have no excuse not to". Anytime I felt myself slipping and become more casual about it, I'd come here and get reinspired!! Good luck!
