Heavy Sigh....I was looking forward to meeting you in person. Did your offer on the property get accepted? My brother lives in a suburb of Dallas. He is a music teacher. A high percentage of the kids in TX take music lessons.
I have to say that my Dexcom does make a big difference for me. My new friend, Joanna uses a CGM and says the same. I used my last sensor last week and am now without. Last time this happened, I said I wouldn't let it happen again. I'll have to work harder at keeping up with this. No, that is not a New Years Resolution. I don't like those.
I wish you well in TX and am sorry that we won't be neighbors (yet). Hope we can meet up someday, maybe you'll vacation here again.

Hi Liz! Where have I been? Started a new job. Sorry not to respond sooner. This got put on the back burner.
I sold another medical id bracelet this week. Something that I do just once in awhile. My name gets around by word of mouth. My doctor referred this last person to me. Nice to have her thinking of me.
How many kids have you? And ages? Mine is a senior, she will graduate in January. That's all. Whew! Well, my husband and cat kinda fit the kid category in some ways too.
It's good to be back online. I'll tell you more about the accessories my friend and I invented when we decide what we are going to do with them. Top secret!
What are you all doing for fun in Missouri? I'm looking forward to a girls weekend in Cody, Wyoming next weekend. Sleepover at Carol's house. Fun group. She has horses but I'm a bit(well okay, a lot) intimidated by horses.
Any luck with the Dexcom? Are you in touch with the representative? I haven't worn mine for a few days. I was hoping to go out to Chico Hotsprings for a nice soak before I put in a new sensor but that hasn't happened so far.

It's a pretty big state. I've lived in 6 different communities in Montana. My husband transferred a lot. He is in the grocery business. I've lived way up north in Havre and Wolf Point, Great Falls which is kinda in the middle of the state, Miles City in Eastern MT, Billings which is further West and Livingston is more south central. I don't really want to move again.

I have been unemployed for quite awhile now. I was the office manager for a small physcial therapy business. I finally got burned out on the insurance aspect of the billing. All of the companies have their games and if you can learn to play them, you can get paid but then they change their rules without telling you so you have to learn all over again. I just accepted a job at Costco as a product demonstrator. Wanted to do something that was done at the end of the day. Am also wanting to open my own little business. Have the funding but am hesitant to put my money into anything with the economy being so unstable. Hope things start looking up so my product demonstating career isn't too long lived. I also make and sell and occasional medical ID bracelet and have invented a couple of accessories for certain diabetic equipment that I'm in the process of getting a patent for and then deciding how which way to go from there.

What do you do for a living?

I don't think I've had any trouble with Dexcom customer service. I went through so much insurance run around. I think it took me almost a year to get the okay and once I did, I had my dexcom within a few days. What kind of trouble are you having? Doesn't it seem odd when you have to work so hard to get somebody to sell you something?

Are you two even close to deciding which part of the state you want to settle in or are you still just exploring? It looks to me like real estate prices are beginning to go down here. They really went up fast and now nothing is selling.

What do you think of the Ping? I'm ready to upgrade in a few months. Is this the one that runs with a remote control?

Thanks for the note! Will you let me know when you are coming to Montana again? I'd love to meet you. There is a beautiful hike out past the KOA. It is the Pine Creek Falls trail. Have you done it?
I really like Livingston. The small town living is good and Bozeman is just a half hour away if anything is needed from the "big" city.
I'm very pleased with my Dexcom. It is very helpful, a wonderful tool. Let me know if you get one.

Liz - I was diagnosed with T1 at age 6, so I have been diabetic for about 100 years!! Diagnosis was in 1971, so it has been an interesting ride to see all the advances & improvements in treatment & control! I am looking forward to see what the next administration's health care agenda/plan will turn out to be - I hope the Obama administration is able to make qualityhealth care more of a reality for all in the USA.

Thanks for the offer! It looks like we can not get the Arch lit for this year, however it looks like a real possibility to get the Congressional and Senatorial help we need for next year. I appreciate your offer of help and will probably take you up on it in the upcoming months. I'll keep you posted!

Liz - Yes, I watched the water go all the way south - how is the recovery of your area? We have 2 daughters, so my husband understands your husbands state of being!!Even 2 of the 3 dogs are female. Poor boy - he has adjusted well! Our oldest is a junior in high school, the youngest a 5th grader.
