Anyone successfully using Apidra with their T:slim?
After having owned my T:slim for almost two months (love it love it love it), I was wondering if anyone is successfully using Apidra?In the beginning there was an issue with Apidra constantly causing occlusions, but it was also found that some of the original cartridges were having the same problem. I had switched to Novalog because it was thought to be an issue with Apidra.Since the issue with the cartridges has been addressed, I was curious if anyone went back to Apidra.See More

Hi Lizbrie! Today will be day 7 for me on the T-Slim and I LOVE it! There are only a few things that I would like changed, and they are minor, and they are the alert tones and the time it takes to fill the tubing. The alert is only 1 beep or vibrate. I wish it was a series of at least 4 or 5 beeps instead of just one. The length of time it takes to fill the tubing probably has something to do with the different way the pump "pushes" the insulin. It is no biggie, just takes longer than my Animas or previous Medtronic pumps. The ease of use of everything else makes it so worth it. If you have specific questions, just let me know. I hope you get yours soon!
