Type 1 Talk + TuDiabetes + CIRM Stem Cell Research Update at Stockton Hilton
May 21, 2011 from 9am to 2pm
For the first time ever Type 1 Talk comes to the Central Valley in conjunction with Diabetes Hands Foundation (TuDiabetes) and the California Institute of Regenerative Medicine (CIRM).Beginning at 9 am, participants will start the day with complimentary breakfast while hearing some of the incredible work of the diabetes patient community in No Sugar Added Poetry. - Lorraine, congratulations on your election to the Board! I am Chairman of the Board of a nonprofit Elder advocacy corporation. I know how much work this could mean and appreciate your contribution. DHF has been enormously helpful to me in managing and accepting my own diabetes. DHF was the first diabetes community where I felt I belonged. LADA, although Type1, is less common and largely an afterthought. That's not the case at DHF!
