Hello, I am new to this Site but not new to being a T1. 32 years I have been living with Diabetes and many of its problems and complications. For about 30 of those years I never took Ownership of it. I never took Responsibility for my own care and well being. Just did what very little I knew how to do. Stemwinder said… Hi ,
You may have noticed TuD hanging around the site. It's his 6th birthday this month, and his big international family of people with diabetes is growing. Our 6th birthday fundraising campaign is on! Every dollar you donate allows TuDiabetes to reach 6 people touched by diabetes, giving them the opportunity to not be alone!
Please consider making a donation, as well as asking your friends and family to give what they can. TuD's birthday party will keep getting more guests as we raise more donations (see top of the home page). Let's help keep our family thriving and growing! Please share this message. Thanks!

Scott E said… Yes, I've been using Medtronic for about 6 1/2 years or so. It's the only type of pump I've ever used - I was on MDI before that. Also 30+ years (31 1/2, actually) with Type 1. Thanks for the friend-add!

Welcome home LudasHubby....
This is a great place to share, to learn, and to grow...all the while meeting new people world wide, and making friends.
Take a peek at some the groups when you get a chance. Just go to the top of your page, and click on "Groups".
Once in, you can either peruse the wide array of available groups....or simply type a specific interest in the space provided.
Take in some of the blogs/discussions as well.
The resource boxes at the top of the home "Home" page, and
"About us" at the very bottom of your page and every page (the footer), offer you more information still.

Everyone here is supportive and will provide answers to your questions. Search the site for answers. Read the discussions and blogs for information.
