Hi Mike...
Sorry to hear that your daughter was also diagnosed. Sucks! Sucks big time! But it is what it is and now we just do the best we can right?

Would love to talk more....would love to hear how you were able to talk to them into the pump so quickly....I am hoping next appointment we will move forward with the paperwork.

I am a happy to help with any info I can give you for your daughter about the PING. I have been very happy with my choice. For me the remote affords me some discretion and the fact that its water proof has been great -- I like to swim. I also have an unusual propensity for getting caught in rain storms on golf courses and I never have to worry about the pump getting too wet. Probably, most important to know -- Animas support is outstanding! I think you will like this site. It is a great resource for real answers and the people here are ultra supportive.

Know what? I've been a diabetic since the age of 10 (37 years now) and I thought I knew all about diabetes when my oldest took it but I really didn't and I have found this site waaay to interesting. I've learned more here than anyother site I've been on. If you have a question just ask it on our Forum.
