Hi and welcome, Mai-Ling! I feel bad I hadn't stopped by to say hello.

Here are a few tips on how to make the most of the site. I invite you check out the different groups we have: there's an excellent chance you will find more than a few that you can identify with.

If you find the community useful, please:
-Link to us on your blog/site (if you have one).
-Invite family, friends, colleagues and anyone whom you feel may benefit from it.

Also, if you know of any local newspapers, TV or radio stations that you feel could be interested in writing about our community, please let them know about the Press Release we published a while back, announcing the community: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2007/8/prweb546849.htm and one we just published about a Diabetes Awareness Video that resulted from the collaboration from hundreds of our members:
http://www.emediawire.com/releases/2007/11/emw568677.htm

Last, if you run into Spanish-only speaking folks, please let them know about EsTuDiabetes.com, our sister Spanish-speaking community.

Do you have a licence for TN? I'm really serious here! My dad just had a redugersted letter sent to my house today after me living here for 18 years paying no rent at all and he promised me 1 acre of land which he never did and sold a car that was promised to me 20 years ago! When I ask him about it he told me that he had given the car to his 2nd wifes son to use to get to work and back about a week after that I saw the car with the same dents in it being driven by a black man in North Jackson When I ask him about it he said that James must have sold the car! I told hin I wanted my money from him and he told me the car sold for $500 but I know better than that one b/c it had 45000 miles on it and had had the tires changed just before he sold it. It's a really lomg story! But I just wanted to see what that sounded like to you! Sorry for such a long post!
