Good Morning, dear Marie. Thanks so much for the tips about walnut oil. I will go look for some today, now that I am driving.( Praise God!!)
And thanks again for being so supportive and complimentary. You are an inspiring, compassionate woman who always "pays it forward"! I hope I can continue to emulate both your attitude as well as your actions. God bless You!!

Marie, Thanks for the birthday wishes. I appreciate the kind thoughts. I am enjoying having my daughter here for a few days. She is looking thru the things and pics we are getting rid of to see if she wants anything. Any word on Reed's progress ? Take care. Cat

Thank you for such a warm welcome. My son was recently diagnosis (March 25th of this year) with Type 1 and we are still learning about what all this means, really. I can tell this site is going to be very beneficial to us.

Thanks for the thought regarding helping me set up my bird feeders. I just have to try to convince a neighbor to help me. Sometimes he offers to help me with things, other times not. Anyway, eventually I will get them set back up.

Unfortunately, left out the lawn furniture over the winter, and they have fallen apart now, so... not much real use for me to put up the feeders, except that I expect the birds are just waiting, they have been fed by me for the past 10 years or so... lots and lots of bird seed, and lots of Thistle seed for the Goldfinches... they are so beautiful, especially when there are 10 or 12 of them flitting back and forth from the crab apple tree and the thistle feeder they love so much.

Marie-So sorry to hear about Reed's fall and broken hip. I hope he heals properly, considering his age. I will pray for him and keep him in my thoughts. That was very nice of Tom to keep us informed. I will, of course, send him a card. Hope you are doing OK. Have a good week. Cat
