Yes im the Roche pump trainer for the Republic of Ireland and am also on the Combo, I have sent Colette a message as im meeting her to get her up and running. Let me know if you have any questions about the combo !

I looked at Christian's page and he lives in a town about 30 miles from me. I will leave him a message too. When I was at the hospital last week the nurse told me a guy called Christian will be meeting me next week to set me up on my own pump and teach me how to use it. I think it might be him!!! I am going to check. Will let you know.

Actaully the Accu will be history in a few weeks, our insurance is forcing us to change to a cheap meter. Hopefully it will be accurate! Just wondering what Bolus meant re: diabetics...

Hi Marie,
Thanks for sending me to the Parents group, I joined. We live in Los Angeles County. My 11 year old son was dx'd just past his first birthday. I can't believe it's been 10 years. He's been on the minimed pump for about 3 years. Pre-puberty is wreaking havoc with his BGs, we are always struggling to get those a1c's down, but he is generally he is in good control. We are so proud of how he manages his life with diabetes, it doesn't stop him from anything. Looking forward to seeing you on the boards.
