Hey Everyone

Whats up guys,
My names Mark im 21, live in Boston and going to school to become a pharmacist. I was diagnosed in 2004 right after moving to Boston for college. Im real laid back and love watching sports and hanging out with friends. I just started on the Omnipod unsulin pump last month so im still getting used to that. Im intrested in meeting others young diabetics like myself and those in the Boston area. Feel free to send me a message!
Take care everyone

Hey, thank you. I really hope I win that video contest, and win that new apple laptop. I don't even know how I have a 5.3, and only a few lows, but I am still somewhat in the honeymoon period, but still, wow. So do you use the omnipod too?

Mark - I imagine it's really hard to learn how to manage diabetes in college - I got my pump a week before starting at NEU, and that was hard to manage! Hope you're doing well.

Hi Mark

We had a great Diabetes meetup last month in Belmont, which is close to Boston. I wanted to let you know that I'm organizing a similar meetup in July 2009, maybe I'll get a chance to meet you then.

Hi Mark! Your story sounds pretty similar to mine. I was diagnosed two months before the end of my senior year of HS. My endo says I'm not ready for a pump yet, but I have been looking around and the omnipod seems pretty cool. Do you like it?

hmm yea. well, i use a ton of insulin, so the 300 will be just fine for me. yea, my clothes are kinda fitted, so i know its going to show through super easily, but i can get used to that. i was wondering about the tubing thing. what if theres air in the canal? i dunno... my insurance has approved me getting it, and im really leaning towards it. i travel a lot and it'd be great to not have to carry around so so many different supplies. i tend to always forget "one" thiing and it messes up everything.

so i see ur on the omnipod!! i will be deciding officially if im going to get mine this week. i tried it out for a day, well, just wearing the thing, not actually using it lol. for those few days, the pod was rly bulky. do u get used to that? thats what im rly worried about!
