Whats up guys,
My names Mark im 21, live in Boston and going to school to become a pharmacist. I was diagnosed in 2004 right after moving to Boston for college. Im real laid back and love watching sports and hanging out with friends. I just started on the Omnipod unsulin pump last month so im still getting used to that. Im intrested in meeting others young diabetics like myself and those in the Boston area. Feel free to send me a message!
Take care everyone
-Mark

GIC is the Group insurance Commission or Unicare. We have PPO coverage so I can use Joslin which is a level 3- the highest tier, but it's worth it to me as my A1C's have been been in the 6-1-5% for about 3+ years

Hey, thank you. I really hope I win that video contest, and win that new apple laptop. I don't even know how I have a 5.3, and only a few lows, but I am still somewhat in the honeymoon period, but still, wow. So do you use the omnipod too?

Hi Mark

We had a great Diabetes meetup last month in Belmont, which is close to Boston. I wanted to let you know that I'm organizing a similar meetup in July 2009, maybe I'll get a chance to meet you then.

Hi Mark! Your story sounds pretty similar to mine. I was diagnosed two months before the end of my senior year of HS. My endo says I'm not ready for a pump yet, but I have been looking around and the omnipod seems pretty cool. Do you like it?

Hey Mark,
Great to meet you! I'm one of the original OP users. You can read about my adventures with that and a bunch more stuff on my site:

Hi Mark

I'm sending this note to all the TuDiabetes folks who live in Massachusetts. There's a pump group meeting in Woburn, MA this Saturday from 9:30 till noon. Someone from Dexcom will be giving a presentation on their technology. This is a friendly group and afterwards we're going nearby for a World Diabetes Day lunch.

If you'd like to come let me know and I'll send you directions. I do hope you can make it. Even if you just want to turn up for the lunch that would be GREAT.
