Looks like I'm approved for the MM CGM, but................................

mini med had a recall recently and that was part of the prob you had getting them but it should be back to normal now

the only thing is if you let it communicate with the pump you are calibrating it each time and you dont want to do that every time I leave mine off and just do manual cal

I dont think you will have a problem with sites or keeping up with using the cgm you will have to test alot I do eight times a day I am not active at all but if you do activity you just have to figure how much to reduce basil to a temp setting rate…

sami i dont think weight is too much of a prob it just means you may need more islet cells thats why they say you should be a certian bmi I understand that they would like to do it with one transplant rather than 2 or 3

I am just starting out with the U of Miami DRI only had first round of blood tests on nov 14 thanks for sharing your input all that have had islet transplant

Hey! My CGM is going Okay. I lost my first sensor after the 3rd day because of calibrating when my sugar was rapidly changing. That, I think, will be my biggest problem because I go low quite often. I am going for testing on December 7th at UIC (Chicago), particularly because I have hypo unawareness also! I was worried because someone said that they had to lose weight but turns out you just have to have a bmi under 30 and I am WAY under - so I was very happy to hear. I'm sure I will be updating after my next appt. In the meantime, I still have to work with this calibration thing! : (
