Newbie Pumper Confusion

With all the educator was telling me that day, I thought total units of 110-130 was per day. That figure was based on 3 day supply. Thank you for your comments. What a great group.

If you push ACT to start a bolus and change your mind, just do a Suspend, followed by a Resume. :)

In my response double stacking to read stacking ...thanks Dave ...it's a bit like 2 positives or 2 negatives in one sentence ( this is why I like this stuff : English lessons included :-) )

We don't call the set a "catheter"; we call it simply a "set".

It's not called "double stacking". It's just called "stacking". google will help you on that one--basically it's doing too many boluses in too short of a time frame (that's the short version)

Welcome to TuDiabetes, Mark! You might be interested in some of the discussions going on in our Pumping Our Insulin discussion group. We also have groups for each of the individual brands of insulin pumps (although I think I've joined all of them just to be able to participate in the threads!).

Oh Ok... Farmington, yes... four courners is still there. Under major construction now. Trying to route all the traffice. I miss G Fox, no longer there. They went out of business 20 years ago or so.

Mark, I grew up in Bristol, not that far from Simsbury. I live in South Windsor now. My father actually coaches football at Avon HS.

The only 4 corners I know is in Brookfield CT.
