Happy Birthday!

I have had that happen but it was not painful enough to change, I just left it and changed it over when the pod was empty. i have see when the condensation has cleared on its own and if the humidity is high it may not clear but i have not had major irritation from the blood area. I have had a couple in the past almost 2 years that have been bleeders when i removed the pod.

I have read other posts where people have had the same happen and they have tips and tricks to help. like one said to dry the pod window with a cuetip after it primes. I have not tried this, but they say it helps with the condensation issues.
Some have mention on occation they have seen some blood but nothing to serious.

I hope this helped and sorry I didn't reply sooner
Thanks and Good Luck
Kat

What length of needle are you using Marnie? Maybe that's the reason when you inject in your legs that you hit blood vessels - just a thought. I know I use the short pen needle - am very lucky I can use that with having diabetes so long - but it's so fine as well - 32g - oh - and it's teflon coated to boot. I always tell people that I can fry eggs on it - and they look at me like I have a screw lose in my head (wait - it's marbles!!!).

Hey Marnie - just reading a comment you made about having a stomach like a pin cushion. Do you use only your stomach to inject? If you rotate from legs/arms it might give you a rest inbetween. I'm not saying you'll be wearing a bikini real soon (last time I wore one was ..... having brain fart here .... 15 I think ) - but at least a takini will do (I picked up a $12 one at Costco today - covers my tummy AND pump ). Do I sound vain or what?

Same here, I was born and raised in Garden City. Got married and we raised our kids here also. Given the choice I would never leave, but things are changing.
