A friend of mine had it done about 8 months ago. He has lost about 150 pounds and a gall bladder. Good luck with your surgery, and be sure to post how you are doing.

Hi Mary:

Welcome! I read some of your comments, like the one about your "thin husband". I can relate. I am type 2 with a thin wife. She has trouble gaining weight.

2008 was indeed a great year for us. We smile as we look back at happy moments, victories and success no matter how small. We relish life and all its struggles. Let's forget the unpleasant times and thank the lord for giving us new mornings and better tomorrows. HAPPY NEW YEAR! Be Well.

I am starting a new! I joined tudiabetes last month and then had some difficulties with my account. I am back and anxious to use tudiabetes as a tool to help me get healthy. I have learned so much and want to continue to learn. I also want to share my experiences so that others might learn.
