"Not sure how active this group is as I'm sure all are busy. I am a T1 diabetic homeschooling my 6 year old daughter. Some days my low blood sugars keep me from feeling I've given her my best, but she is learning despite my handicaps."

Mary's A1C report was great this time!

Posted on December 8, 2011 at 10:53am 2 Comments

Today Mary had her Endo appt. 3 months ago her A1C was 8.9. Today she was 7.4!! I'm really happy. I attribute a lot of it to switching from Omnipod to Mimimed, but to be fair, she did have some serious lows too. The Doctor made a few small changes to her basals and IC ratio. Other than that she is doing great!!!
