So its been about 2 and a half months since I've been on the MM pump. Its changed my life around. My A1C test has come down from an 9.0 to 6.9. I was shocked, I never thought that I would ever get it that low. I use to be between 8 and 12. I also lost weight too. so in the coming weeks I'll be getting on the CGM that comes with the MM pump. Little scared and excited at the same time.. I hope all goes well to other folks out there and I wish you luck.

My new pump has been good so far, its just harder to get my numbers in control. Also this will be my first week back to work too which means lots and lots of testing (my poor fingers). Im sure in a week or two and working with my NP that my numbers will be under control. I also get to try the CGM that comes with the MM starting in march, looking forward to it, at least my fingers are that for sure. Well wish me luck :)

So here is something that might be a shock to some of you. I have been a diabetic for 31 years. This web site has great information for anybody who is a diabetic (type 1 or 2 or 3) and family members who might have questions about diabetes. Please pass this along to any diabetic that you may know.... It could change their life like it did for me :)
If you have any questions let me know, LOL
That was the post Iput out on my facebook wall with a link. It was one of the last things…

The TuDiabetes offices are in Berkeley, and there are get togethers from time to time. If I still lived in the area, I wouldn't miss a chance to hang out with Manny and the gang. I was in the closet too for about 40 years when I stumbled on TuDiabetes.
