I am part of the Welcome Committee and was just checking in on you to make sure you are aware of all that TuDiabetes has to offer. We would love to hear from you so here is a helpful link where you can read about all the things you can do in the community.

Welcome to TuDiabetes, Matthew! I'm really glad that you found this community so soon after your diagnosis! As questions come up, just start a discussion. There are years of diabetes experience here!

I was diagnosed at 21, 5 years ago (I actually had exactly the same A1c when diagnosed!!). Now it's hard to remember or imagine life without diabetes!

How did you find out that you have diabetes?

Welcome to TuDiabetes. I see you are newly diagnosed Type 1. I hate to say it, but welcome to the club. There's lot of support here for you, which is nice. I have been a diabetic for 23 years this month and am still doing well. It's frustrating, but you can make it!
Let us know if you need anything or if you have any questions. We are here to help.
