Glad your Back! Was sorry to hear about your situation. Seems like your doing really good with your pods! Great A1C!!

I've been good, think I might have an issue w/ my 3rd pod that I put on a day ago. This one I put on my stomach area and after a day it seems to be bleeding a little in the sight window. BG's have been OK but a little higher that what I think they should be, might change it early. As for your hot tub question, my trainer did tell me if I have it on my arm it was ok, just don't wear it on your body and cook it in the hot tub. Going back for a followup on Friday after 1 week on being on my own...not really alone as I've got friends here to help! IF you have any questions I can help you with just let me know ~Take Care!

Hey Megan--On my 2nd POD, think I have a tip on the condensation thing that might help! When I went thru my training they showed me that after you let the pod prime take it out and hold it in your fingers with your the top facing you. Then with your other hand make a fist and tap the pod a couple of times against your hand that you made a fist with. If you've ever smoked or seen people that smoke and pack them before you've opened them it is similar to this. I did it with my first pod and forgot, as to many things to remember when going thru my first pod change by myself. But I got that condensation build up in this one and I didn't knock out the excess insulin they way they showed me at training. Think this will help as I didn't have hardly any in my sight window on the first one and this one I can hardly see....Hope this helps! Take Care~Schmutz
