- so friday afternoon and this morning I spent going from office to office trying to find someone who knew what to do with my request for a new pump and CGMS!! hopefully now I'll actually get it within a few weeks...you never realy know in italy though =) that's great to hear how happy your husband is with it though!
I love that you've moved around - a lot of people don't understand that! and now, for the first time in my life, I feel like italy is really home for me. the concept of home has always been linked to where my family is and I feel like I have really finally found my niche here - plus my husband and our very furry children are all here =) but it doesn't mean that I don't miss california very much!!!

- that is a really long time! how is he doing? and have you guys always lived in the sacramento area? I really hope that you guys are able to some how get coverage for the CGMS...I should be getting mine within the next month and am so excited! I really hope it makes as much of a difference as I've heard.
that's crazy that you have friends from padova! what are they doing in sacramento? and definitely visit italy if you guys ever have a chance - it is very, very different in every sense of the word! and I haven't found any organizations that are even somewhat similar to what you see in the U.S. - diabetes is much more hidden here and seen as a problem, not as something to bring a group of people together.
