Re your search on "Information on the release of sugar from the liver."

My experience, and I've done a lot of self testing, is that our basal releases are pretty consistent. That is they follow the same pattern and intensity day after day. What most don't realize though, is our patterns can vary greatly. They are not flat as insulin makers would have us believe. Research "basal testing."

Sugar is also released by the liver for other reasons, namely to save your butt! Hypo's and anaerobic exercise are the two main causes.
