I noticed you where in the area....

Ahmad and I will be having a get together this Friday night at 6pm we would love if you could join us...

Pitchers Lounge10800 Metcalf Ave, (Overland Park Marriott Hotel), Overland Park, KS
This popular, inexpensive restaurant is a sports lover's heaven. Locals find it a great place to get together, have a drink, enjoy a meal and unwind. Located in the Overland Park Marriott, just 20 minutes from downtown, it is worth a short drive for the sporty atmosphere and good food.
Diners can choose from an array of menu items, including pizza, salads, burgers, ribs, steak sandwiches and grilled chicken sandwiches. For those with an appetite, Key Lime Pie, apple cobbler and sundaes top off the meal.

hope to see you there..

Heh.. Yeah, I live in the heart of the Mission, so I get at least one burrito per week. I get it "super", but with no rice and sour cream, and it's about 10 units of apidra/humalog! :) It also take about 5 years to digest fully so I've screwed myself over a number of times by eating one too late at night... going to bed at 100 and then waking up at 3am at 300. Oy.

Hi Michelle! I'm good and you? I can't wait for the mag. I saw the edited version the other day when I was at the ADA office for a committee meeting. So glad you hit me up. I'm also on the welcome committee so I'll say welcome and glad your here, LOL! Are you a part of any other diabetic activities here in KC?

Thank you so much for your lovely reply on the Why are you not taking care of yourself thread, and for saying what my doctors never said when I was growing up. It means a lot, and you're right, diabetes really does suck at times, but together we can all give it a huge kick where it hurts when it starts to play up. :P
