"Hi, Michelle, I am a bit confused because a TSH of 1.3 is completely normal. You might want to check that out. Perhaps it was O.13? At your age, you do indeed have LADA. True Type 1 is something that happens in childhood. LADA stands for Latent…"

Hi and welcome, Michelle.
I see you are just diagnosed as type 1.
Don't worry to much about the shots... in the beginning it's a bit weird, but you will see... you get so used to it, it becomes automatic. Keeping your blood sugars (people around here shorten it as "BS") within the lines is the most challenging job...
It's all about experience... doctors have nice theories, but a good advice... listen also to your body, because every person is wired differently.
If you have any questions, drop it here on TU...
Good luck,
Nico
