I just read this article on the Unplugged blog that talks about people passively telling their neighbors about a problem by using the name of their WiFi network. Help Me: Do I need a new doctor?
Since my DKA in May, I've been seeing a doctor that I randomly found by flipping though my insurance provider's list of approved doctors. I made my first appointment and went in and told him my whole story.
I won't bore you with my back-story, but the gist is that my insurance just recently started covering Diabetes care after a long waiting-period because of a "pre-existing condition." Dumb.

Jaimie Hernandez said… - Happy to make it official over here too :) getting a pump if endo is labeling for type 2 (or are you considered 1.5? if so dr can write type 1 on rx) can be difficult but not impossible...you will have to fight for it through a series of appeals no doubt.....do you know your c-peptide yet?
