"Pod will continue to give her basal until it expires. Unfortunately she will not be able to bolus and will need to give herself injections at meal times. Batteries should still be good in the pod."

PDM broke can I still leave the pod on? HELP :)

Hello All,I am not an Omnipod user this question is actually for my friend at work who wears an Omnipod. This morning her PDM gave out, omnipod is sending her a new one but in the mean time can she leave her pod on even though her PDM is broken? Because the pod will continue to give her her basal correct? Has this ever happened to anyone beforeThank you for any insight or advice you can give.:)See More

Ketones with Paleo

Hi everyone I have had type 1 for 19 years. Recently I have been trying the Paleo diet to help me achieve some health goals that I have. However i have found that when i am on the paleo diet I feel LOUSY and have large ketones when my blood sugar hits like 250. Has any one else expereinced this while trying this diet?
