Hi Molly,

I hope you followed Melitta's advice about Dr Kershner. I was once confused in her office beacuse her support staff was talking about what "Pam" needed scheduled or tests ordered. She answers my e-mails within minutes. Even though I've moved to the Sierra foothills (great bicycling location) I still drive to Walnut Creek because any sports physiologist who decides that's not enough and gets an MD and specializes in endocrinology is "good enough" for me. A delightful person as well as great endo.

I could also tell you one to avoid at Kaiser Fremont who got my driver's license suspended based on something a family member blurted out...

Good luck,
Pete

Hi Molly (from a fellow redhead!): The endo I see at Kaiser is Pamela Kershner in Walnut Creek. She is simply wonderful and I never have a problem getting an appointment with her.

I was told if you wanted to see an Edo at Kaiser, you had to be on life support. Maybe the policy has changed.

Good Luck,
Rosemary

I may be chiming in on this way too late, but my son sees Dr. Mathur at Kaiser Walnut Creek. She sees both kids and adults and we have had good experiences with her. I know the enods at Kaiser Oakland as well and at SF...As a result of a book I wrote, I meet a lot of these folks. Let me know if you want any numbers.
