Our diabetic group in TORONTO, is made up of diabetics helping diabetics and our BLUE ROSE DIABETES FOUNDATION, website should be ready in the new year. As the 92, computer rookie, and a LIONS CLUB member since 1972 and clinically dead in 1977 with a BG of 880, with my second chance, have been a ROLE MODEL to over 45.000 and mentoring to web members in high diabetes areas, to contact their LIONS CLUBS,45.000 clunbs in 205 countries and say AMIGO said get involved.Could you send usinformation about your foundation? We like to have as many contacts as possible to show ROLE MODELS WHO WALK THE WALK and TALK THE TALK, are POSITIVE EXAMPLES OF DIABETICS LIVING HEALTHY LIFESTYLE, TODAY, while waiting for a CURE, TOMORROW. hi, Natasha, welcome! It's nice to see someone from DRI here. I asked Manny some time ago what charities he thought were particularly good to support, and yours was right at the top. I have asked my parents not to give me any more Christmas or birthday gifts, just send money to DRI. You have sent them some lovely thank you cards, and also to me telling me of their contributions in my honor. I have had type 1 for 42 years. I pray every day for a cure.
