- Hello Naveeda. I gathered its a family member who has diabetes. I didnt expect that he is your 5 year old son. Its hard enough for adults...children are more of a challenge. I really do hope the site will help you a lot. It helped me so much too. There are so many members here whose children are type 1 diabetics. It helps just to talk to someone...for understanding and support. Im really glad youve found TuD. Your son is blessed to have a strong mom as you :)
