I started writing about my experiences with diabetes at the beginning of the summer when school let out and my schedule was freer. I felt like I needed to write to help me sort out what I had experienced last semester after I was diagnosed. A couple of friends of mine encouraged me to start a blog and this weekend I finally did it. If you're interested, you can check it out here: http://theclumsyjuggler.wordpress.com/

Your reasoning for using the name Nel makes perfect sense !!..it's short and it's cute :) I recall at about age 12( 60 years ago ) I wanted to be called Petra ( instead of Nel ) till I had a class mate by that name ! And I have no clue , why some call me Nels ?? ..well, what's in a name ?
Hi Nel from another Nel from Canada ...on TuD I spell with a lower case n ...short for Petronella ( Wilhelmina ...good Dutch name ...yours too ??
