"Same happend to me, I lost 64 pounds. Before I was using from 55u lantus whent down to 25u, and the boluces where 25 with each meal now 9, well that was when I was on MDI's. Now with the Omnipod my overall insulin intake daily is around 50u…"

"I've found the opposite, as I gain muscle and lose fat I need less insulin, which would suggest that it has something to do with the delivery, either pod placement or possibly old insulin. You should experiment with different spots to figure it…"

So I decided to go back to school to get my Masters. Huh? Crazy! I am taking two classes now and I am struggling to keep my head afloat. Why did I do this to myself?. Then on Monday and Wednesday evening the band gets together for practice and Tuesdays is Cubs scouts with my son (I am the Bears Den leader, woot!). In an attempt to understand how others view me as "the diabetic" and vice versa, I found this site and have learned so much about how powerful the Internet can be in this regard. I work in Information Technology but never used the Internet as a resource for my disease until now.
