- Hey ya'll,
My name is Nick Masercola, and I'm a bass playing, script writing, horror-movie-loving type 1 diabetic. I'm a recent graduate who currently bums around NYC, with the hopes of moving to California in a few years.
In addition to all of that, I am one of the Associate Editors for Juvenile Diabetes Cure Alliance, where I'm tasked with reaching out to the diabetic community and explaining just what we're all about.
To condense: The JDCA is an Alliance of donors who are working together to convince charities to put resources toward research that has the potential to develop a Practical Cure by 2025. We believe many obstacles obstruct the development of a Practical Cure, such as the lack of a cure definition and timeline, and poorly spent finances. It is our goal to remove these obstacles and convince charities to change their spending habits to reflect what donors want--a cure.
